Reporting a problem

The resizer runs in your browser, not on our server. So we cannot see what went wrong from our side. There are no logs to check.

These details help a lot:

• Your browser and version, and whether it is a phone or a computer
• The file type you loaded: PNG, JPEG, WEBP or SVG
• How many photos were in the batch, and how big they were
• What you expected, and what happened instead

Please do not send the photos unless we ask. The settings and file type are usually enough.

Check these first

A few things come up often:

• Photos look soft. You asked for a bigger size than the original. Growing cannot add detail.
• Clear backgrounds turned white. You saved as JPEG. Use PNG or WEBP instead.
• HEIC files will not load. iPhone HEIC photos are not supported. Change them to JPEG first, or use the Pi7 Image Tool.
• A big batch slowed down. Everything runs on your device. Split the job into smaller batches.

Privacy

We only see what you put in an email to us. Your photos are never uploaded, so we hold nothing.
